Meet our Doctors
Corey Schultz, DDS
Dr. Corey Schultz attended the University of North Texas where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.Â
He moved from Austin, TX to join the Marathon Family Dentistry team in 2018. Dr. Corey has practiced in multiple facets of general dentistry and continues to expand his knowledge and love of dentistry. His passion is rooted in treating each patient with respect and compassion, and going above and beyond to provide high-quality dental care.Â
When Dr. Corey is not working on your teeth, he enjoys watching UNT football, CrossFit, playing soccer, kayaking, and spending time outdoors with his wife.Â
Paul Lorentson, DDS
Dr. Paul Lorentson grew up in Grand Rapids, MI before moving to Iowa as a teenager. He attended Iowa State University and earned his bachelor's degree. He then completed his dental training at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
Dr. Lorentson believes that a strong knowledge base leads to better dental treatment. He is a big proponent of continuing education and loves learning. Dr. Lorentson has advanced training in obstructive sleep apnea treatment with mandibular advancement appliances and single implant placement.
Dr. Lorentson is married to his wonderful wife, Jenna, and has two dogs: Lily (lab mix) and Tyson (rough collie).
Outside of work, Dr. Lorentson likes to spend his time with friends and family, traveling, skiing, gardening, and honing his photography skills.
Brittany
Dental HygienistBrittany has been with the Marathon Family Dentistry team since 2017. She loves working with and getting to know patients of all ages. Brittany currently lives in Edgar and in her spare time enjoys walking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Additionally, she enjoys baking and decorating cakes, cupcakes and cookies.
Julie
Dental HygienistJulie has been a Dental Hygienist with Marathon Family Dentistry for 20 years. She is thankful for the relationships and mutual respect she has with her patients. She is also thankful to be part of a team that always puts the patient first. Outside of the office, Julie is a proud mom of Travis and Katie. Her interests include walking, snowmobiling and spending time with friends and family. She likes being involved in the community and is an active member of the Edgar Fire Department, serving as an EMT.
Mary
Dental HygienistMary has been part of the Marathon Family Dentistry team for 35 years. As a hygienist, Mary loves helping people feel great about their smile. She enjoys getting to know her patients and developing friendships with many of them.
Mary lives in Mosinee with her husband Jim. Together, they have three great kids and a growing family of grandchildren. When she’s not at the office, Mary likes to garden, read, and spend time with her grandchildren.
Michele
Dental HygienistMichelle has been a hygienist for 31 years and has been with our Marathon Family Dentistry team since 2013. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and teaching them how to take care of their teeth. She also enjoys getting to know her patients, which allows her to take even better care of them. When she’s not at work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband of 29 years and their 5 children and grandchildren. The most rewarding part of her day is seeing patients want to show off their smile as they’re walking out of the office after having had their teeth cleaned.
Heather
Dental AssistantHeather has been working as a dental assistant for over five years. Her favorite part about her career is helping patients achieve there ideal smiles. She feels that everyone’s dental experience should be a positive one, while having compassion and making patients feel comfortable is her number one priority. She knows that having a wonderful team to work with is the number one
reason this office is so great! Heather is married to her husband Matt and currently lives in Mosinee. Outside of work she enjoys walking, crafting, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Schedule CoordinatorWhen Andrea isn’t helping create smiles, she can be found valuing time with family and friends, enjoying excellent musical talent, and tending to her flower gardens. She lives in Marathon with her husband Mike of 25 years and their five children. Andrea has been with Marathon Family Dentistry for nine years as a schedule coordinator and front desk receptionist. She appreciates the strong relationships between coworkers and patients alike. She finds it rewarding knowing she plays a role in helping patients smile.
Corissa
Office ManagerCorissa has been working in the dental field for 29 years and has been with the Marathon office for 14 years. She enjoys being able to dedicate herself to her patients and help them leave with a smile. Corissa lives in Marathon with her husband Russell, their three beautiful children Skylar, Sierra, and Jaron, and their chocolate lab Remi. Outside of the office, you will find Corissa attending her children's sporting events, traveling with family, spending days on the family pond, gardening and canning vegetables for the family.
